(FLORENCE, KENTUCKY) – Mazak Corporation and Machinery Resources Incorporated (MRI), based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, jointly announce the appointment of MRI as the official Mazak distributor for Arkansas. This is an expansion of territory as MRI has represented Mazak in Oklahoma for several years.
In this regard, MRI has hired Vaughn Armor to cover the Arkansas territory. Armor is located in Russellville, AK and possesses extensive experience in manufacturing, engineering and machine tool sales, which will benefit local customers. He may be reached at (479) 567-0586 or va@mritul.com.
In additional news, MRI has expanded customer support at its Tulsa headquarters with two new hires. David Copeland joins the company as applications engineer and Dillon Engles returns to MRI as a service engineer. Both have received extensive training at Mazak Corp. Engles completed hands-on training at the Mazak Florence, KY factory and achieved Certified NEXUS Installation Technician status.
Located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Machinery Resources has been in business since 1986. It has 11 employees and plans to add two more service technicians in 2008. MRI is headquartered in a 9,000-square-foot facility that features a showroom and training areas. It offers in-house and shop-floor training on a variety of pertinent subjects.
