MACHINE DESCRIPTION:

The INTEGREX i-630V/6S AG HYBRID Multi-Tasking machine combines full 5-axis milling and powerful turning operations with the HYBRID Auto Gear (AG) package for DONE IN ONE® gear and part production. Designed to handle large, highly complex parts in a single setup, this machine allows manufacturers to reduce the inaccuracies that occur when moving heavy parts across multiple workstations and eliminate work-in-progress inventory.

The AG package gives the INTEGREX i-630V/6S AG specialized user-friendly software to synchronize milling and main spindles for successful gear production and provide high-resolution rotary scale feedback. Easy-to-program Mazak SMOOTH GEAR software accepts conversational input of project parameters on a SmoothX CNC, making it easy for virtually any operator to machine parallel-axis O.D. and I.D. gear and spline types, hob O.D. spur and helical gears, and – with optional features – measure and deburr gears on a single machine.
