MACHINE DESCRIPTION:

The INTEGREX i-630V AG HYBRID Multi-Tasking machine combines full 5-axis milling, powerful turning operations and pallet-changing capabilities with the HYBRID Auto Gear (AG) package for DONE IN ONE® gear and part production. Designed to handle large, highly complex parts in a single setup, this machine allows manufacturers to reduce the inaccuracies that occur when moving heavy parts across multiple workstations and eliminate work-in-progress inventory.

High-speed and high-torque milling spindle specifications are available to meet the various demands of individual application requirements in industries such as aerospace, heavy construction and energy. In addition, the machine’s 2-pallet changer provides unattended operations and off-cycle part setup. This simple, efficient form of automation allows you to load, unload and inspect parts on one pallet while the machine works on the other undisturbed.

The AG package gives the INTEGREX i-630V AG specialized user-friendly software to synchronize milling and main spindles for successful gear production and provide high-resolution rotary scale feedback. Easy-to-program Mazak SMOOTH GEAR software accepts conversational input of project parameters on a SmoothX CNC, making it easy for virtually any operator to machine parallel-axis O.D. and I.D. gear and spline types, hob O.D. spur and helical gears, and – with optional features – measure and deburr gears on a single machine.
