Made in Florence, Kentucky, the QTU 350MY, which features an upper turret with rotary milling capabilities and Y-axis functionality for off-centerline operations, is one of several models to be included in the company's new UNIVERSAL Series that boasts the highest levels of performance and productivity at the industry’s most competitive price points.
In addition, the completely new 12-tool turret design of the QTU 350MY uses servo drives that then power a roller drive system for high precision index positioning. The system makes the turret expandable and allows for an infinite number of index positions to be programmed.
With the easy to program and operate GR100 gantry robot, the QTU 350MY becomes a complete turnkey system that results in immediate productivity increases through unsupervised loading and unloading of workpieces. As such, manufacturers can economically boost efficiency with the ability to have one operator oversee multiple machines.
