This recertification comes on the heels of us investing $30 million in our operations, which included implementing what we call the Mazak iSMART Factory™ concept into our now 536,000-square-foot manufacturing facility.

This vertical turning center gets its power and precision from a high-torque integral spindle/motor and high-rigidity 12-position drum turret. And, not only that, it offers the fastest spindle speeds and rapid traverse rates in its class.
Depending on your choice of chuck size, the MEGATURN SMART 500 can accommodate maximum machining diameters of 19.69" and heights of 18.19". The machine is also available as an "M" model, which includes a rotary tool spindle for handling milling, drilling and tapping operations.
