You’ll experience high-feed milling, multi-edge face milling and turning concepts – including Sandvik’s revolutionary new PrimeTurning methodology – live and in action on Mazak machine tools.

PrimeTurning, according to Sandvik, is the biggest innovation in turning since the turning process itself. The concept encompasses a turning technique, dedicated CoroTurn™Prime tools and a code generator, all of which allow you to turn in any direction. Such capability boosts machining efficiency and productivity while also significantly increasing tool life.

OTHER NEW TOOLING INNOVATIONS

  • ​CoroMill Plura solid end mills, tipped end mills and thread mills for heavy roughing and finishing as well as super finishing.

  • CoroMill 745 & 725 multi-edge face milling cutters available with 42° lead angles for large depths of cut and 25° angles for even higher metal removal rates.

  • CoroMill 415 small-diameter high-feed face mill with four-edge inserts that provide higher metal removal rates for increased productivity.

  • CoroTurn 300 effective high-quality turning tools deliver high-precision coolant from above and below the cut zone for efficient chip breaking as well as long and predictable tool life.
